IJUNGHI is a feature-length movie that tells the story of a young girl IJUNGI who is caught up in an act of rape by his uncle BOBE CHIA. IJUNGI a 17 years old orphan is faced with the issue of rape in the hands of BOBE CHAI. Faced with the trauma she is faced with no choice but to run away from home and BOBE CHAI labels her as a possessed child. This keeps BOBE CHAI family in chaos as BOBE CHAI son NICK doesn’t see reasons with him. BOBE CHIA is brought to book when he takes same sexual adventure with NDIP Ijungi’s best friend and as a result, ends in a pregnancy which he attempts aborting but is caught in the process and is exposed to his family and community.
